September (I)

Haven't had the time to write and submit a post due to tests and project, as well as work and school. It hasn't been easy trying to juggle everything but I think I'm getting the hang of it. I feel really tired on some days, but am thankful that boss has been super understanding and caring :) It has been a crazy month, I cannot believe how time has been flying by at such a ridiculously fast speed! It's the 21 of Sep, nearing the end of the month already!
Sometimes, I think it's really scary that our every single day is just passing by like that. Not that I'm slacking and wasting my days away, but it just feels like I have (much) lesser personal time. And I don't like it ;( Personal time is so important to me. Sissy says I've been too stressed to the extent that I look different in photos. I won't refer to myself as a photographer, but the pictures that I've taken recently with the dslr are really making me so frustrated. It just feels like I've lost it, I just can't capture images the way I used to anymore. Was filtering through an album of pictures taken recently, and I ended up deleting a huge amount of pictures. Photography is something that I love, something that I feel good doing. And staring at pictures that simply have "no feel" to me is making me feel so blah.

Ok enough with the rant. Anyway, I brought the girls to Food For Thought at Botanic Gardens. :) It's their first visit there and I'm glad they liked it! It was to celebrate the end of our tests; we survived the two horrible weeks of non-stop mugging!

After leaving town, I went back all the way to Changi to meet my three little log fairies - Xinyi Joleen and Sinyan :) It was a rather randomly planned dinner date but I'm glad to have met up with them! Makes me miss all the other loggers so much! We headed to The Coastal Settlement for our dinner! The whole dining experience there would have been perfect if only it wasn't pouring. The weather was really chilly and it wasn't exactly warm inside too, all thanks to the weather. But nonetheless, putting the horrible weather aside, I loveeeee the place! All the Vespas and the vintage items, major love :) It was a good place for meet-ups definitely! It's more convenient if you drive though, as it's all the way in past Changi Village, and the only bus to TCS is 29.

Will end this post about here. There's still the Ikoi treat, Steph's birthday date, meet-up with the pair of JB sisters I met through the Europe tour last year and dinner w clare/lolo/steph @ Fat Boys to blog about; soon soon!

It's been almost a month, missing you still. X

Do it anyway.

I've always had this habit of looking through pages and pages of quotes. I figured that it was my way of keeping myself motivated as well as one of the methods of "learning". I must admit, reading quotes have helped me 'survive' difficult moments. Although they're merely words, but after reading and understanding the meaning behind a particular quote, it somehow, weirdly, clears my mind too :> It's always comforting when you come across this particular quote that basically describes your exacttttt feelings at that point in time - and you'll end up saving the quote/image somewhere.

Everyone's struggling with something, so have heart.

It's been a long week, the longest ever.
Hoping that September will be a better month, x.
