4th trip of the year!

Am at the airport now, embarking on the fourth trip of this year - to Bangkok! It's been 4 years since my last visit to Bangkok :> heard that there're changes to some of the malls! Heh heh. I rushed out the collages of the USA trip or I'll be stuck with too many photos to upload. Anyway:> the crazy sister and I decided to bring Pororo along with us! HAHA. I was just joking about it but turns out that she took my joke alittle too seriously :p Can't wait to arrive at Bangkok! First on our agenda would be to get a manicure, yay! Thinking about thai iced tea, mango sticky rice, shark's fin from platinum mall, tomyum (!!!) and all the yummy street snacks like grilled squid - am going craaazy :> I think this is the first time I'm traveling so regularly in a year! Hongkong, Taipei, USA and now Bangkok. I think it's because the heaviest load on my shoulder for the past two years has been lifted off to a new committee :> Not sure if there are any more destinations for the end of the year, but I highly doubt so. $$$ :< + School!

It's just a short 4-days trip, before I officially start school at SIM. Mixed feelings! It's been awhile since I last did some mugging :p

Have a good weekend all! Xoxo.

Stayed a night at Fresno, something which I was super glad of. The weather was really ferocious! We wanted to take a stroll around the hotel at night and the moment we stepped out of the main entrance, we found ourselves turning straight back for the hotel. It was literally like having hot air being blown at you, or maybe I should say it's like living in a heated oven! It was pretty unbearable for us as we weren't used to it. When the wind came, it was so hot that our eyes felt super uncomfortable! I know this probably sounds a little exaggerated but really, it isn't! But overall, San Francisco was really lovely :> It's my favourite part of the trip! Will definitely return to San Francisco one day, in the future :>

Las Vegas, up next!

It was a really cool experience at Las Vegas! Most memorable moment had to be the helicopter ride at Grand Canyon! And I must say - the Grand Canyon is indeed very very spectacular! I never thought it'd be so beautiful! I always thought it was just many layers of red rocks or something along that line. I could definitely picture how the Grand Canyon looked like, but seeing it in real just led me to feeling so awed and amazed by how majestic it is! No wonder it's one of seven natural wonders of the world. Others including Great Barrier Reef, Harbor of Rio de Janeiro, Mt Everest etc.

Quick update!

Photobucket

Have been back from the States for slightly less than a month, many many things happened after the trip hence the total lack of updates on this space. Everything's more or less settled now but am still not prepared to blog bout the trip! Probably the next post :>

It was an absolutely awesome trip!!! Flight took about 18 hours or so with an hour of transit - enough to drive me crazy and restless but it was absolutely worth it! Spent time watching movies (there was one that sent me on a laughing fit, but I forgot which movie it was), variety shows and playing games - thank goodness for inflight entertainment! :> Anyway, the shopping was enough to drive me happily insane :> Summer sale + attractive prices for US brands (MbMJ, MK etc) = SHOPAHOLIC MODE 'ON'! Finally got to visit Macy*s & Bloomingdales, which my sister has always been mentioning about when she talks about the States. Of course - the visits to famous landmarks such as the Golden Gate Bridge, Alcatraz, Hoover Dam, Grand Canyon etc were superb! Not forgetting LA's Universal Studio Hollywood, Grauman's Chinese Theatre and Disneyland! :> Transportations for this whole trip not only includes a plane, coach, cruise, buggy, it also includes a helicopter!! HELICOPTER! I always thought that I'd only be able to look at helicopters from afar, never have I thought that I'd be able to be in one! :> It was an optional tour thing, a little pricey though - 200USD for a 15-min helicopter ride to the bottom of Grand Canyon, 20-min boat ride on the Colorado River and another 15-min helicopter ride back. But trust me, it's worth every dollar spent!

Enough about the trip for now, I can go on and on about it :s Anywayyyyy, I came back and started work at Bridal Affairs! Work is so far so good! Getting the hang of things now, there's so much to learn! Am thankful for a patient and lovely boss :>

Did a couple of meet-ups with some friends after my trip - Marcus & Jeremy, Grace, Crystal & Nian, Gene KBZ Eeping & Mengchou, Bella, Stephanie, Clare Joey & Yijie! Although my schedule has been super crazy this month, am glad that I was able to meet up with these people :> Craziest meet-up would be the one with Gene KBZ Eeping & Mengchou! We ended up chatting till almost 4am at a playground opposite TP! But I am thankful for that long chat, we really did cover many conversation topics! We talked about our childhood, dreams, favourite quotes, many more! Even about what we felt about death, afterlife and stuff. Unimaginable topic, yeah hahaha. OH and I am meeting my dearest bunch of girlfriends from the Polyforum experience tomorrow!!!!!! Will be going for the Harry Potter exhibition w Nini too! Tomorrow will be an awesome day :> *throws confetti in the air* Am super excited!

Will do a detailed post verrrry soon! Definitely before this Saturday ;> Before my 4th trip of the year! Yay!
