Satisfying cravings.

Finally met up with the soul buddy! :) Have always looked forward to meet-ups with this lovely because we're so similar albeit being different in some ways at the same time. Having someone with the same mentality and mindset on so many things in life makes me feel so blessed to have her as my soul buddy! We were discussing about what to have for dinner two days back, and we settled for Thai food due to my cravings :p As usual, Ladyironchef remains our best search engine when it comes to thinking of places to dine at or explore. In the end, we decided on Suanthai Restaurant! :)

A 10-minutes walk from Somerset MRT, this place is pretty accessible. Along a whole stretch of other yummy eateries at Killiney Road, we decided that we'll check out the other eateries on our upcoming meet-ups! CANT WAIT. We are oh-so-greedy!

Anyway, we went for the all-you-can-eat ala carte buffet. Omgosh, we couldn't even finish the food! There are certain items (six, to be exact) on the buffet menu that can only be ordered once, and those are the items that they'll actually serve you first. Thank goodness we only ordered a mango salad on top of the 'mandatory' items! Lesson learnt: go for the buffet with more friends!

In sequence: Thai Rice crackers, Green mango salad and pineapple rice that we ordered to share, Tom Yum Soup w prawns, Chicken wrapped in Pandan leaf (yums), boneless stuffed chicken wing, Stir-fried mixed seafood w basil & long beans. And there's a Thai style chicken satay too, which I did not capture opps.

We added $2.99+ per person for free-flow of iced-lemon tea. We couldn't even finish that amount of tea, look at the jug!! But I must say, their iced-tea is really really nice (Y)

We were there pretty early, about 6pm, we were the first two diners! :) We were wondering about the "crowd" that was mentioned by Ladyironchef because there really wasn't a crowd till about 7pm! But when we left the eatery at about 8 or so, it was really packed!! I wanna go back againnnnnn, with a bigger group of friends of course :p Nom nom nom.

Went to H&M and we were stuck there for an hour, ended up buying 1-2 pieces each! Retail therapy, sigh :)

Us with the floral cat ears and shades from H&M, heh heh.

And I brought the new Galaxy Camera out today! Gosh, I am still not used to the (light) weight because I'm very comfortable with my Nikon D5200. And it's so funnily strange, I can't seem to capture pictures without shaking/moving, resulting in blurred images till a couple of tries later. URGH. Anyway, pictures from this post are captured using the Galaxy Camera (except the selca collage) w only minor editing in terms of sharpness (SIGH, MY HANDS).

Practice makes perfect, x.
